More Than 40 Employees of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals to Volunteer Afternoon of Service in Support of Vanderheyden
More than 40 employees of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals will devote an afternoon of volunteer service to Vanderheyden, one of the premier youth, adult and family service agencies in New York’s Capital Region with a mission of changing lives…to save lives.
Regeneron employees will participate in a number of volunteer activities, including clearing a nature hiking trail, painting, rehabilitation of facilities, and working with individuals from the Vanderheyden’s “Day Hab Without Walls” program on craft and decorating projects for their individual living spaces.
Activities will take place from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at various locations on the Vanderheyden campus. News media are invited to attend, shoot photos and video, and interview volunteers and Vanderheyden’s CEO, Karen Carpenter Palumbo.
Regeneron’s employee driven volunteer program, Regeneron in the Community (RIC), inspires action, fosters collaboration and motivates employees to self-organize around social-service projects that reflect their individual passions. More than 750 local Regeneron employees will volunteer this week to benefit more than 25 local organizations as part of the company’s annual Days of Service.
