Diagnostic Services
A thirty-day on-campus clinical assessment of a youth's needs.
Responding to current needs, Vanderheyden has established Diagnostic/Respite Services on its Wynantskill, NY campus. The program, for stays up to 90 days, is designed to serve persons ages 12 to 21 who are in need of emergency care and have emotional, behavioral, and/or developmental challenges. Diagnostic services also can be provided on site.
Staffed by a professional team that includes a masters-level clinician, this round-the-clock unit is there for adolescents in situations of temporary homelessness, neglect, in need of out-of home placement, or other concerns.
